Another Nydenion vessel in our new series of wallpapers. More to come in the next weeks.

The Repulse is a capital battleship of Sykon navy. I started building the miniature almost 20 years ago and we finished it with a crew of 5 modelbuilders in 2004. The model is almost 4 feet long and is build from styrene and detailed with thousands of model-kit parts.

By the way, regarding an old modelbuilders tradition, I have added some jokes onto the miniature...look close there is an anchor somewhere at the bow ;-)

The Repulse can be seen in the Nydenion trailer [link] and of cause in the movie which will come out soon.

I always wondered what happened to Nydenion! It's been years since I first saw Nyd. conceptart on Scifimeshes. Then all of a sudden the whole project seemed to have dissappeared from the web.

Nice detail and design on the ships. One really gets a true sense of size and scale, not to mention raw power these battleships must possess.

Why don't you post the model at www.starshipmodeler.com? I'm sure many Sci-fi modelers would really like to see your creation.
